I eat. I drink. I people.
Craft is about an experience. It's a vehicle taking people on a journey through an avenue of off-the-beaten paths and underground delights. This isn't a magazine about the coolest hotspots to eat and drink. It really isn't about describing the mouthfeel of a 1945 Bordeaux or how wild mushrooms are the new foodie trend; However, this is about what happens when people break bread together and what it is they do to create intimacy with others. It is about the community in which we live in, where craftsmanship is making a comeback and where people are expressing themselves in a unique atmosphere. I want to explore the inner curves and the grooves within food and drink as well as the individuals partaking in it.

My name is Jo Ann and I write. For the past 10 years I've delved in the challenge that is expression via the proverbial pen and paper. Although my cursor has blinked on an excruciating hiatus, my thoughts for a next project have been itching to come out. And so Craft RVA is born. My interests in people, places and things has brought me to a myriad of good times and connected moments. Most of those moments were brought together by food and drink.
I bring you Craft RVA --- An online magazine about connecting, eating, drinking, stories and artful abilities. I don't review things, I create stories about them.
